Overview

Sport Harness kit from Hooker is ideal for a wide variety of experimental aircraft. The standard set includes one 1-3/4" military style seat belt, one 1-3/4" military style shoulder harness, one 1-3/4" crotch strap, and one pad set and yoke assembly for front seat.

Note: (For Citabria, Dacathlon, Champ, or Scout aircraft please specify in "Special Instructions" when ordering. An additional fee will be charged for required yoke assembly.)

A beautiful harness, my 3rd Hooker. This was ordered for a glider, and so Hooker called to ask for specifics in order to provide proper web lengths, whether I wanted adjustment straps to be pulled from bottom-up or top-down. In all great Hooker attention to detail and customers. However, the arrived harness was not as I expected, the engaging latch was a military-style lever with securing hook, not the wide paddle style as shown on the Spruce product description. So I called Hooker, and they explained that Spruce specified the Military v. Commercial engaging mechanism. I love this Hooker, great craftsmanship, great for for my glider. Rating 5 stars. 3-stars for Spruce, wishing they pay closer attention to advertising and ordering details. I will split the difference from what WE expect as to what Spruce orders on our behalf. Hooker rocks, Spruce... not so much.

Q: Do these belts come with hardware?

Per the supplier: The belts do not come with the nuts and bolts.

Q: Is the Hooker Sport Harness set FAA Approved?

Yes, this product is STC'd.

Q: Whats the difference between standard and rear?

The drop down menu was incorrectly labeled with standard instead of front. The difference is one is for front seat, the other is for rear.
