Upr Gr Leg Fair Sa-1741005-239

The item shipped is what I ordered. It arrived on time as advertised. The quality of the fiberglass fairing is very good.

The lower fairing needs some trimming to fit. I would leave the painting for last since you will be removing off and on several times. Of the four i installed one upper is starting to crack after four flights. I would say overall i would buy again for the quality and price.

Good product but requires some trimming to install. The cuff around the gear leg fairing was too wide, making it impossible to close the new brake fairing enough to install the screws that close the bottom of the fairing. I used a Dremel tool to shave the inside of the cuff, but it was hard to judge how much to cut away. Also, a strap duplicator is needed because the holes for the screws attaching the fairing to the wheel pant are not pre-drilled.

Q: Are these a split cuff? In other words, do you have to completely remove the wheel/brakes etc to install?

The cuff is split so the wheels and brakes do not have to be removed to install it on the aircraft.
