Mount your GoPro or Garmin Virb X/XE anywhere you have fasteners 2 to 6 inches apart such as a wing tip or inspection cover. The all metal mount with aluminum red GoPro adapter holds your camera securely. Rotate the adapter 360 degrees on a 1/4-20 threaded stud, and lock in place with the jamb nut. The included rubber gasket protects your painted surface. Two included flush washers centers any #6, #8, or #10 screws on the plate. The plate will flex around slightly curved surfaces. FAA approvals available for certified aircraft. Recommended to use the GoPro safe metal case to eliminate the common problem of falling GoPros due to the plastic GoPro cases breaking. |

Good for mounting GoPro.
Flix Rock Steady Gopro Slim Surface Mount
Solid mount. Very simple and quick install. Worked great on my 79 PA32 wing tips.
Works great.
Easy to use and holds the camera rock steady. Not at all worried the camera might depart the airplane.
easy to install.
Good design, but didn’t supply the hardware that was listed as part of the product, so unfortunately was not usable without a trip to the hardware store
The backside mounting screws are not sufficiently countersunk and risk damaging the aircraft finish even with the thin rubber spacer. I ended up grinding them down flush. The mount is rigid and will not easily bend to a contour. Overall the mount is secure.
