Rugged Air Dual GA To Helicopter Adapter
Works perfectly. I bought another one from Amazon that was wire only (this one has a small hard plastic block to plug into) the Amazon one did not allow the use of the microphone. This device allows me to use my Lghtspeed headset in airplanes and now in helicopters!
Perfect adapter to swap commercial Bose A-20 (737/GA plugs) into military C-17.
Just what we needed
Seems like a quality unit
Tension on the GA plug connectors is not tight enough. The plugs come out to easily.
Rugged Air Dual GA To Helicopter Adapter
These units caused me endless intermittent transmit problems until my avionics tech removed the back plats and then they seemed to work but when reassembled they again did not work consistently. Replaced with adaptors from another manufacturer which work well. I would not purchase these units.

Yes, this will work with stereo dual GA headsets.
The male end is a U174 style helicopter plug. This single plug (7.1 mm / 0.281 inch diameter) provides both microphone and audio to the ear cups. It is generally known as a U-174/U plug or the U-93A/U plug (Nexus TP120).
