This item is not affected by cold, heat or most solvent chemicals due to the coating treatment we apply to this product. Simple stuff, as advertised. Installation isnt quite as simple, since you have to use an adhesive.

It does not have adhesive on it. A good quality contact cement, like Pliobond, is commonly used to attach anti-chafe tape.
