Good product but price is more than Tempest plug. However the wrenching on the Champion plug are higher on the shaft and allow for clearance for CHT spark plug gaskets in the spark plug counterbore of the engine. Tempest plug wrenching a lower (more towards tip) and will not always clear a CHT gasket probe.

For many years Champion sold defective plugs with internal resistors that would crack or go open so I began using Tempest plugs. But now the quality of the Tempest seems to be less so I am trying the Champions again to see if they are worth the substantial extra cost.
