This tire valve extension allows you to fill your tire with air without removing your wheel pants. Simply screw in to your existing valve, and fill your tire. The valve extension attaches securely and won't leak air. |
Purchased this product for my 2012 172S with the wheel pants on all the time. For the mains-through the wheel pant access door open, I found that with a little coaxing of the tire valve stem, this valve extension threaded on easily and I was able to check / inflate the tires without any issues. For the nose wheel-at least on my airplane, the tire valve stem was aligned in the center of the wheel pant access door and I did not need the valve extension to check / inflate that tire. Simple solution, that worked great.
This straight valve extension that screws onto the tire valve works much better than the push-on straight extension I have used for a few years.
