Developed exclusively for Aircraft Door Seals by a major chemical company, this phenomenal new wing walk coating reduces the chance of slipping when climbing up on the wing. Unlike the mundane wing walk coating found on most aircraft, ULTRA WING WALK is a fast-drying polyurethane-based semi-gloss black coating with fine particles of rubber that adds class to any plane. |
The stuff worked great. Its premixed and all you have to do is stir it well. After prepping the area, brush it on and bam, new wing walk!!!
Ultra Wing Walk
Product was just what I needed. However, was nearly impossible to remove can lid. Wrecked it trying to get it off.
Ultra Wing Walk
Amazing product. Love it. Its better than the original coating that feels more like a sand paper. I used this to repaint the wing walk on mu Grumman Cheetah. Minimal prep required. Do stir well and follow instructions. I did not take off the previous coat. It peeling at places. This is rubberized and has a nicer grip and feel, just like a shoe sole! The grippy grit is also even sized rubber bits. I used a foam roller and it went pretty well. Just mask with painters tape and roll on the paint. Easy to level places that were missing paint. Dried within 2-3 hours. Tested it next day and it was well cured.

This stuff works great. Spend a little time on prep work, follow directions, and it works great. I used a paint mixer on my cordless drill, scrubbed the area with soap and water (wire brush on bare metal spots) masked it off, and painted it on with a brush. Looks great. *****
Ultra Wing Walk
This product is an excellent product, easy to use, excellent grip and durable if you take your time and properly prepare the underlying surface. Patience is they key. Patience opening and closing the can. Proper stirring. And patience letting it dry fully, which may take a bit longer than indicated in high humidity environments. Be patient, prep properly and you’ll have a great looking, functional finish.
