Overview

  • GPS capable ELT accepts Garmin aviation, Bendix/King aviation, NMEA 0183 and Arinc 429 data. Retains GPS coordinates after power is removed. Remote fits Artex and Kannad panel cut-outs. ELT certified to the new TSO-C126B standard battery certified to TSO-C142A lithium batteries UN/DOT 8.3 lithium batteries.

    Warranty: All warranty issues must be handled directly with the manufacturer. These are non-returnable and non-refundable once installed. If any attempts have been made to install this unit it becomes a warranty issue and can only be resolved through the manufacturer directly.
    There is a $250 Recertification fee in addition to the 15% restock fee on all ACK products that have been opened.

Q: Can I use this ACK E-04 ELT in Argentina and South America? Does it includes anything I need in order to install it?

Yes. We can program it for Argentina. You will just need to order it and provide the aircraft and country information to program it. The package will include everything needed for the install.

Q: Does this ACK E-04 ELT comply with TSO91A and TSO126?

Yes, this unit complies with these TSOs. All approvals and information can be found in the installation manual under the Documents tab.

Q: Is the battery included in this E-04 complete kit?

Yes, the battery is included.

Q: What is the difference between this model and the other ACK 406/121.5 MHZ E-04?

The main difference is the type of antenna that the aircraft requires - Whip, Rod, or Blade. Part # 11-13591 is programmed for a plane that would be located outside of the USA.

Q: Is the antenna included? If working internationally, does it also work in the USA, or is it excluding USA?

Yes, the antenna is included and the ELT will work in and outside USA. During the ordering process you will need to provide the Owner/Operator, aircraft, and country information.

Q: If the 15 wire isnt long enough and I need an extension, is 11-09971 the correct wire + coupler to get?

Part # 11-13637 is the ACK remote switch cable that will extend the remote switch cable on the ELT. Length is 5ft.
