AV-Link is the Wi-Fi module companion to the AV-30 panel display. AV-30 packs a generous feature-set in a surprisingly small form-factor, but with our background, we never settle for anything less than nearly impossible. AV-Link expands AV-30's feature-bursting heritage and adds Wi-Fi connectivity to support live traffic from a supported ADS-B receiver, wireless firmware updates, and more with future features already in development.

Yes, it can be used for this. However, keep in mind for the AV-30-C it must be removed before flight. AV-Link expands AV-30s feature-bursting heritage and adds Wi-Fi connectivity to support live traffic from a supported ADS-B receiver, and wireless firmware updates.
Uavionix does not have access to Garmin's traffic protocols so the GDL 39 and app will not work with this product.
It will only provide traffic information from an "ADS-B in" source (Sentry). The ADS-B in source will provide GPS track, but not any other GPS information.
The input of the GPS is on a different pin and on a different page of the AV-30.
No. The AV-link is not compatible with the Garmin GLO.
