ASA Standard Pilot Log, Hrdcvr Brgndy
Same Pilot log I bought Many years ago! Happy to be able to get the same format that Ive been using... lets say,, before many of you through about becoming a Pilot...
This is a basic flight log which also has spaces for a variety of sign offs for additional training. Maybe not for a professional, but as a GA pilot flying for personal pleasure it provides all the space I require for documenting my flights. Plus, it doesnt break the bank.
The ASA Logbook was my first logbook from my discovery flight through 300 hrs. I have NO problem writing 3 or 4 digits in the columns. I do have a tendency to write small, so take it for what it's worth. For me, I love the ASA logbook. I make notes about each flight and enjoy going back through and reminiscing about my flight experiences. Great logbook for a great price!
I shopped, I ordered, I received. Fits the bill. Simple and easy.
This is a solid logbook. This is my second logbook of this type and I like the layout and functionality of it.
Nice hard-covered logbook but way too small!
Stick with the Jeppesen logbook if you ever plan to have more than 99 hours. The columns in this logbook are far too narrow. Writing a 3 digit number is very cramped, and writing 4 digits will be nearly impossible. Also, there are a whopping 7 entries allowed per page. My old Jepp logbook has almost twice that with 13 per page. Maybe this logbook is for people who want to feel like they are filling up a lot of pages. Finally, most of the entries need to be made left of binding, making it a pain to write for the 90% of us that write with our right hand. All in all, this logbook is junk, a waste of money, and I'll probably end up tossing it.
