Overview

Aircraft Climate Impact- Remote Accessory (13-24001) is recommended at same time of purchase of the Portable Aircraft Air Conditioner

Aircraft Climate Impact is a next-generation portable aircraft air conditioner designed by pilots for pilots. It packs a serious punch of cooling in a compact package.

This portable aircraft air conditioner works by circulating ice water through a high-efficiency heat exchanger, and is enclosed in a vacuum-sealed YETI cooler.

Air is drawn over the heat exchanger, cooled, and expelled via a 5-inch Italian-made fan used by CAT and other industrial companies for intense air conditioning performance.

The vacuum-sealed YETI cooler ensures Aircraft Climate Impact operates at high thermal efficiency (maximizing cooling endurance) while also enabling pilots to leave ice in the unit for 24+ hours when not in use.

Aircraft Climate Impact is proudly in service by both Boeing and the USAF.

Q: What type of power connection is required for the Aircraft Climate Impact?

Per the manufacturer: You can either use the optional battery pack or use our included adapter to plug it into a 12V cigarette lighter port. Please keep in mind the cigarette lighter port should be fused for at least 8A.

Q: Where is the on/off switch located? Is it bluetooth controlled?

Per the manufacturer: The on/off switch is located on the side. The wireless remote also allows you to cut the unit off from anywhere in the cabin. At this time, we do not support bluetooth controls.

Q: Will this unit have a drain hose so that the heavy unit can remain in the baggage area, I turn on an electric switch (like on your competitors) and remove the warm water when I am through with the flight?

Per Vendor: "While the stock drain hose is not long enough to reach outside the unit, our team can substitute an extended drain hose by special request (free of charge) for such operation. Our products are designed for relatively easy mobility/drainage, so this is usually not necessary, but we are happy to offer it if desired. "

Q: The description is not clear whats included with the Aircraft Climate Impact unit? What is included with the unit?

All units include the air conditioner itself, along with a cigarette lighter adapter and spout. A customer can option the remote and/or the battery kit. Regardless of whether they option the battery kit, they receive a cigarette lighter adapter.
