Fully reversible The unique U-shaped design allows the raft to be fully reversible, allowing quick, easy entry from the water - whichever side is up when it automatically inflates. The ISPLR's low slung floor design allows seating at a slight recline lowering the center of gravity well below the waterline, increasing stability in rough waters. Zip to the elements Twin zippers, located on either side, allow you to partially close the canopy, keeping the elements out while providing great ventilation. |
The Switlik ISPLR brings advanced military design and mission-proven durability to a single place life raft available for mariners and pilots who are serious about their personal lifesaving equipment.

The floor is an inflatable floor option. The portion of the ISPLR where the person sits is constructed of our life raft fabric. This is the barrier between the person and the water, and unlike the flotation chambers that sit on top of the water, it is not inflated. It’s a high-grade, double-coated nylon/urethane fabric, but it doesn’t provide much thermal protection from the surrounding water.
If someone uses the ISPLR over large, cold bodies of water, we would suggest adding the inflatable floor. This inflatable floor is placed between the person and the inside of the raft (the person sits on top of it). The inflated floor provides an additional thermal break between the individual and the surrounding water.
Loose packed means they are in a case that can be opened. Hermetically sealed means they are packaged airtight and can the packaging cannot be resealed. The belt pack is sealed airtight and allows for the pilot to actually wear the lift raft on their person during flight.
Yes, the ISPLR can be re-packed by a trained and authorized Switlik Service Center after use.
