The Citation S/II is a light corporate jet manufactured by Cessna. Upon the arrival of the Citation S/II, major improvements were made to its design. Citation S/II first flew on February 14, 1984 and certification was granted including an exemption for single pilot operation. The improvements were mainly aerodynamic, including a new wing design using supercritical technology developed for the Citation III and it incorporates two 11.1 kN Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15D4B turbofans. The Citation S/II has a flightcrew of two. The Citation S/II has a maximum cruising speed of 743 km/h. In 1984, the Citation S/II initially replaced the Citation II. |
