AA716 vac pump wrench going thing to have when you are taking pump off work very good
AA716 Tempest Vac Pump Wrench
Bought this for personal use, now the whole shop uses it. MUCH better than the shop modified tools we have.
It makes installing a vacuum pump a lot easier than it otherwise would be. The magnetic tip is especially helpful in getting to that vacuum pumps lower-inboard nut on the O-320
well,...I bought this wrench by accident. returned it asap. its way too expensive for what ya get. the magnet is the only difference between this wrench and the Rapco RA716. Im sure it works great but it is way too expensive IMO. the over pricing is why I gave it one star. Additionally, the mechanics on the field say the magnet falls off after a few uses. I never used it so I cant speak on that.
AA716 Tempest Vac Pump Wrench
Save your money on this wrench. Fit and finish is poor. Nuts would not fit properly and the magnet is a gimmick (very weak), as others have reviewed. Wish I could return the wrench but unfortunately wasn’t able to install the vacuum pump before the return period expired.
AA716 Tempest Vac Pump Wrench
No magnet on mine, rough finish.
Said it has a rare earth magnet, none on my unit. Points not finished, very rough and would not fit over the nut until I cleaned them up. Had to use my old RAPCO tool to finish to pump install.
