Yoke, Squeezer, 5-5/8" Deep, 1-3/16" High. Fits ATS-114C, Chicago Pneumatic 214C, and 0214C series squeezers. |
This yoke is a good alternative to the special bucking bar recommended in the RV-14 construction manual. The throat is just deep enough to reach the rivet when placed perpendicular to the trailing edge. In my hands, better control was obtained with a foot valve allowing two handed use. I’ve used the 4 inch one and I think the 6 inch one will help out in a lot more places
Squeezer Yoke 5-5/8
The one shipped doesnt look like the one advertised. It has a fat nose that one needs to grind down in order to get between the HS spar. Once that is done it works great. There is a lot of flex but that is to be expected at that distance. The rivet sets basically touch when exercising the squeezer empty but when squeezing a rivet, the flex creates the correct distance.
