Overview
| The Davis Vantage Pro2 GroWeather weather station is a research-grade weather station that provides professional-grade data for weather enthusiasts, researchers, growers, and weather professionals. It reports real-time wind speeds up to 200 mph, temperature and humidity, barometric pressure, rainfall and other information such as heat index, dew point, highs and lows, and much more. The sensor suite has a detachable anemometer for flexible siting. The 6825C includes a Solar Radiation Sensor (#6450) and a 24 hour fan-aspirated radiation shield. Users can retrospectively add a UV Sensor (#6490). Vantage Pro2 sensors are NIST-traceable and are suitable for professional weather data reporting. |
Features
- Please note, not every application needs a Fan-Aspirated Radiation Shield. They are most useful when wind speeds are low and skies are clear. It is important to note that critical maintenance is required at least monthly on the fan and associated screens to ensure continued functionality.
- You will need to supply your own CR-123A 3-volt lithium backup battery for the ISS.
