Filter was as advertised. Fit perfectly. BUT packaging resulted in crushed element on arrival. Spent several hours trying to straighten.

Wasnt a fan when I received this filter the paint was flaking off and filter itself is made of a fibrous material sheds significantly. I didnt want those fiber ending up in my engine. It also does not include the pins to attach it.

Looks and is exactly like the factory made part. It seems like there should be a gasket to seal it better to the housing but I have not been able to easily find the number.

Yes, the filter can be cleaned with solvent and re-oiled.
Use oil by dipping in Grade 1 or Grade 2 of MIL-L-21260. This will be stated on the instructions of the product.
No, this would not come with a gasket. This would come exactly as shown in the display picture.
The vendor recommends a MIL-L-21260 oil, like LPS 2 or Marvel oil.
