Continental Remote Oil Filter Adaptor
I got this adapter to use with an external oil filter on my Continental IO-240. My engine already had an oil temp. probe on the oil cooler adapter so I needed a way to seal the OT port on this adapter. After working with ACS customer service the manufacturer provided me with a brass plug to seal the oil temperature port. If you need to close the oil temp. port like I did make sure you purchase the plug. This adapter is very well made.
I installed the filter apt. On my c85-8 and have 75 hrs of trouble free use. I did use the oil temp port with an oil temp gauge. The probe, seats internally,in the apt. no leaks. Great product.
