Mitchell Fuel Gauge 240-33 12/14V

June 4, 2021

Much more robust than the Westach guage that it replaced. I had been previously forced to replace the sending unit. I could not find a 240-30 ohm sender that Westach requires, not even from Westach. Standard sending units are 240-33 ohms. This guage works perfectly with the VDO sending unit already installed. That 3 ohms makes a difference in how the guage reads at FULL and EMPTY.

Ordered two of these fuel gauges. One had the threaded inserts for the mounting screws, the other gauge did not. Installation much more difficult. Poor quality control.
