Manifold pressure is one factor used to obtain correct power setting of the engine. The indicators are temp. and altitude compensated. Matte-white dials. 2-1/4" units are new mfg. 10"-50" Hg. Interchangeable with AN5770-1. |
Easy to install and works great. The instructions are a little hard to follow. Suffice it to say that this unit assumes the ambient temperature is 75 degrees and will display a cht that starts there. So, if the ambient temp is less than 75 degrees the unit is assuming its hotter than it really is. So, you subtract one degree for each degree below 75. If its hotter than 75, the unit assumes its cooler than reality, so you add one degree for each ambient degree above 75.
UMA 2-1/4 Mechanical Manifold Pressure 10 - 35 In Hg Non-TSO
Lasted about 2 hours, then stuck at 25. Returned for replacement. Another one I have has been working fine for ~ 5 yrs.
