The 6100 series firewall fitting is all steel and requires only one hole in the firewall. It has a ½ inch steel ball with a swivel angle up to 15 to 25 degrees from straight. It is held onto the firewall with one ¾ inch steel nut. Assembly weighs only .7oz (.04lb). Ball hole sizes available are .125, .188, .218, .240, .250 and .260. This fitting will not lock cable in place at firewall,otherwise a good fitting.

The 6000 series fitting is smaller and has a steel grommet that is 1/2 inch diameter. It can accommodate a cable up to .260 inches and only needs one hole that is .625 diameter in the firewall to mount. The 7000 series has a steel grommet that is 1 inch in diameter. It can accommodate a cable up to .750 diameter. It needs three holes in the firewall to mount, one that is 1.125 inches in diameter and two small holes to clear an 8-32 screw.
