the solenoid fit our C172
This solenoid bolted on, hooked up, and is working. Does what it is supposed to do.
Its as good a price on a contactor anywhere Ive seen them. Fits on the firewall of a Cessna 172N . Original I had only had three posts, this one has four. You need to be able to follow the instructions and understand them. They do come with enough instructions to figure out unless your mechanic slept thru the electrical portion of A&P school.
Did not come with the jumpers useless without them
1/4 LARGER IN HEIGHT THAN STANDARD CESSNA SOLENOID. DOES NOT FIT IN A 210.

It will conduct current both ways.
Per service bulletin SEB-24-02, x61-0007 is replaced by x61-0029 which is a 24v battery relay.
