5-year warranty and a sure-fit for all students, instructors and aircraft renters. All have a music input and Aux output for recording lessons and radio communications. Both pilot and co-pilot positions have PTT jacks. Powered by an internal 9V battery (included), good for 40 hours of operation in airplanes lacking a cigarette lighter socket. A 4-foot Aux power adapter is included. When using the power cord, the battery is by-passed, preserving the life of the battery. The 2-place SPO-22, 4-place SPO-42 and 6-place SPO-62 are compatible with all standard aircraft headsets. The 4-place and 6-place models have a satellite box for rear seat positions to keep unwanted headset cords out of the pilots way. A special HIGH-NOISE model, perfect for Ultra-lights and Kit aircraft, is available in all configurations. It filters out background noise, lowers the input level at mic amp, increases output signal, and mic interface can be modified to interface with Icom radios. Also features a sidetone modification. We use this when flying in a plane with only two intercom jacks. Plug it in to the co-pilot side and bam we have 5 jacks available in the plane including the pilot. Music feature is OK but could be a little louder but thats not why we bought it.

Functionality of unit is unacceptable for normal flying. The music does not mute when ATC calls. Some static in background and think that intercom talk is not muted either as returned immediately when tried out in plane due to lack of muting. Called tech support and they admitted the unit is original technology when company started many years ago and will have updated unit in next year.

Per the supplier: The cord is 4 feet long.
Yes, this will work with the A6 radio. You will need to use the headset adapter to plug the radio into the intercom. The PTT switch plugs into the headset adapter and will not plug directly into the intercom.
