Chipboard tube & top wire spools, complete with metal spool plugs that have pre-stamped drive holes and locking anchors for a long lasting use.

I use these for spooling yarn. I have bought many of these. They are perfect size for the smaller skeins and dont snag the yarn.
Accurate and fast as always! Thank you for having just what I need to get my job done.
These are very nice economical wire spools. It would be great if when we purchased wire we had the option to have it spooled up and shipped on one these for an extra nominal charge. Hint Hint
Excellent!!
Works great for wrapping wire spools! The smaller one works great for 100ft wire spools. The larger we havent used just yet because it looks like it would carry at least 200-300ft and we dont sell wire quantity that large.
Easy to assemble. Some pointers on capacity of the small one, 100 ft of 22 AWG is not worth the effort to put it on as you use so little of the capacity. However 200 ft of 18 AWG makes good use of the capacity. Also 50 ft of the Ray Allen servo hookup wire (5 conductor) does a good job of filling one out. My only experience with the large size was 100 ft of 12 AWG and I think it would have been a better fit to the small size. I have all of my large quantity wire on these spools and have no regrets. I have only one minus and that there is no hole pre-drilled in the sides or tube to stick some wire in when starting to fill it but a minute with a drill will fix that.
These look well made. Unfortunately they were supplied with plastic core plugs, and not steel as pictured. I planned on using these for my high temperature 3d printer filament which needs dried in an oven. The plastic spools the 3d printer filament come on always melt and deform. These would have been perfect, but the plastic core plugs that were included will also melt just the same.
