Per the manufacturer: First, a 10w LED light output is equivalent to a 10w incandescent in light output only. The LED is a much more efficient light source and usually draws 1/10 the current, so Ohms law is not applicable.
To compare the 10w LED to the 5w LED is not easy since they have different applications. The 10w was designed to better replace the wingtip light with more light energy in the vertical plane and less in the horizontal plane for more forward output. The 5w unit was designed with more light output in the horizontal plane for the beacon position. Also the 10w light uses a better white aviation LED source than the 5w.
