Note: Not FAA Approved. Intended for use in experimental aircraft only. The Vega EMS-1 is a 2 1/4” universal engine monitor color display instrument. The EMS-1 contains all the necessary functionality to replace several engine monitoring instruments. The EMS-1 can also be interfaced via the CAN bus to an optional external RDAC unit (Remote Data Acquisition Computer). This allows for easier installation as the RDAC unit is normally mounted in the engine compartment. |
Order was complete and shipping was fast. Great prices and service all the way around.
MGL Ems-1 Engine Monitoring System Rdac Optional
Was worried it would be too small to read, but very clear and good resolution. Lots of information and displayed very nicely. Installed in a Long Ez w/IO-320 and works great. Paired with the RDAC for CHT/EGT/RPM/amps/volts/Oil P/Oil T/OAT
MGL Ems-1 Engine Monitoring System Rdac Optional
Shipping time was short once it came into stock, at predicted time. Good unit plus it had a feature that the literature did not mention, had been upgraded? Fuel level is available with it, and only mentioned in the larger EMS2 manual. It checked out with a spare sender on the bench.
