Works good for 1979 Grumman AA5 Cheetah. Inserting the locking pin is a little bit fiddly.

Purchased for a Grumman Tiger. Very well made and 6 inches longer than the previous tow bar I was using. Rubber handle works nicely to prevent slip. The spring action was very stiff right out of the box however it got better after a few uses.
Absolutely the best tow bar on the planet. A must for any aircraft.
From the reviews, I was not inclined to order a cheaper version. Many stated that they didn’t work well with the wheel pants. Spent the money and made sure it was right the first time. This product works well as advertised for my Cheetah. It locks out wide so that you don’t scrape paint as it is attached. You can’t go wrong with a life time guaranteed product. Great purchase.
Does it work? Sure. Is it a ripoff? Absolutely. I can’t believe that these painted metal tubes are fetching 274 dollars. And it doesn’t even come in its own box. Look, I’m a plane owner so I realize that everything aviation has to cost 5X more than it should, but come on.
