$285.94/Each
Price Includes GST
Part# 13-06724
MFR Model# SPC-102

Overview

An inexpensive, yet very effective alternative to other covers and plugs. The SPC-101 is designed to fit an aircraft with one static port on each side of the aircraft and the SPC-102 is designed to fit an aircraft with two static port on each side of the aircraft.

The dimensions for the SPC-101 and SPC-102 are as follows:
  • Overall size: 17" length x 3.5" width x 3" height
  • Suction Cups are 2" in diameter.
  • Cover Cups are 3.5" in diameter.
  • Suction Cups hold 40 pounds each.
  • Minimum center suction cup to center cover cup = 4.5" Left to Right
  • Minimum cover cup center to cover cup center is 3.75".
  • Maximum cover cup center to cover cup center is 6.5".
  • Body total: 12" x 1.5"
If the aircraft has a single port, or double ports that are less than 4.5" total width apart, the SPC-101 would work fine. If the double ports are farther than 4.5" apart, the SPC-102 would be required.

Features

  • Universal design to fit most aircraft
  • Lightweight…entire assembly weighs less than 1/2 pound
  • Attaches with heavy duty lever cups designed to lift up to 40 pounds each
  • No fuselage modification required
  • Prevents the possibility of any damage to static ports by being and externally mounted cover
  • Malleable lightgauge red anodized aluminum easily conforms to virtually any surface contour
  • Adjustable to allow for attaching lever cups on or around decals and pin striping
  • Installed at temperatures from -20°F to 110°F

Reviews

They work great on the Challenger 604 and don’t damage the port hole. Also stayed on while parked in heavy rain and 30-45 kts winds for about a week.

Spoke with someone at Aircraft Spruce whom told me they should fit on a Gulfstream GIV so I ordered them, they do not fit. I returned the item and they did not reimburse me for the shipping. The product itself looked really nice and would most likely work well on other aircraft. If you wanted to have 4 single static port covers on a large cabin aircraft banging around the back of the aircraft then I suppose these would be good to have. They are a bit on the large side other than this, nice product.

I tried fitting SPC 01 for the ports on the P8I aircraft . But it is holding for hardly 10 mins. Is it due to any of the following reasons . 1. Rough Surface 2.Cleanliness of the surface 3. Is it due to the minute uneven ness of the surface .
