Overview

The TH-6 is a light-weight universal towbar designed primarily for hand towing. The TH-6 eliminates the mad hunt for the proper towbar when moving a hangar full of singles and light twins. This towbar also has a good handle for pulling and a ring ,ball or clevis hitch for occasional light towing. NOTE: The piper manual states that the tow pins are for hand towing.

For powered towing we suggest adapter set P/N 13-15488.

Works great for towing our Piper PA28-180 in and out of our hangar with a lawn tractor.

Excellent Towbar. I ran a business for 16 years and a TH-5 was a daily user and I was never disappointed. The TH-6 looks like a formidable replacement. I am no longer in business, but badly miss my TH-5. So I ordered this replacement for my personal use, towing my Piper Comanche. It works great, its light weight makes it easy to use and it is up to the task. I recommend this towbar

Super quality towbar. Very heavy and as far as Im concerned for vehicular use only. Pulling with tug is easy. Pushing is tough and takes practice. I did know what I was buying before had and this is a must towbar for folks who use them a lot.

This is the 4th Brackett tow bar that Ive purchased over the past 20 years. Disappointed that the TH5B was discontinued and replaced with the TH6. The TH6 lacks the sturdy feel of the TH5, especially when the bar is opened wide. You can see the reasoning in the change: fewer parts, easier to manufacture, cheaper to make. In execution however one gets the sense that they overpaid for the TH6, whereas the TH5 felt like a relative bargain. Will it work? Yes. Would I recommend it over a TH53 or a used TH5B? No.

Q: Does the TH-6 replace the TH-5 towbar?

Yes, the TH-6 is a replacement for the TH-5 towbar.

Q: For Brackett towbar TH6, what one do I order so I can put it onto a tow balll? Is that the ring or?

No, for a tow ball hitch, order part # 13-18548.

Q: Does the TH-6 fit an A36 Bonanza as sold or does it require adaptors?

No additional adapters are needed for that aircraft.

Q: What size ball do you use with this?

This has a 2" ring so you would use one smaller than 2".

Q: Good morning. Will the TH-6 attach to the G5 Cirrus without using any adapters like P/N 13-15488? The G5 is under 3200 lbs with full fuel.

You would need to order qty2 of our part number 13-16095.

Q: Will the adapter for Cessna 152, 172, 182 etc on the TH6 tow bar work for the Cessna 177B Cardinal?

Yes you would need two of the T-N182 adapters (13-16106.)

Q: Will this tow bar work with a Baby Bushwheel 3200 tailwheel or is an adaptor needed?

Yes, this will work but the right adapter is necessary, see part # 13-10089.

Q: Will I need an adapter for a Cessna 182RG?

Yes, part # 13-18547 is the towbar only. Part # 13-16106 is the correct adapter.
