Mpp Camera Mount
This thing is fun. I tightened it very well on the tail tie down, the GoPro tightens well enough with fingers to the mount. It is on my Arrow II, my Arrow will be 50 later this year so disciplining it is not possible. It likes to marks it territory and for the most part it has only marked the camera once in my extensive 4 hours of use and that was on the takeoff roll. The oil spot blew away to gone in the picture once we got up to 150 mph. I have a GoPro 8 Black. Video quality is incredible, wind noise is equally impressive, cant hear the prop or engine at all in flight. It is very fun to see the gear retract and control surface movement. The GoPro has auto stabilization that keeps the horizon steady as the plane rolls about in summer thermals. Picture quality is very good. We have over flown the islands in Lake Erie and their many airports, runway markings very clear, number are legible, even able to make out the type of aircraft parked with reasonable confidence from 3000ft AGL. Very happy with this new toy and it cost us no speed penalty that we can see. We live in Ohio, the wind is always blowing, how would I know. Even trying to over rotate and drag the camera my plane will not do it. If I have the speed to lift the nose high enough to drag the tail the Hershey bar wing lifts us into the air first. At least in a straight wing PA-28 I cant get the tail close to the ground. No way on a takeoff will if drag. I am crazy not stupid, I have not attempted to land tail first. My new battery only last 48-51 mins and on 2 flights we had 15 and 25 min waits to takeoff. I have heard a rumor that there is a way to turn the camera on and off remotely, unless checking on brake function or nose wheel shimmy a long taxi is just wasting battery, look into the remote or jump out and turn it on right after run up. This will make even dull flights over corn, wheat and beans interesting
Mpp Camera Mount
Very nicely made GoPro mount. Attached to the strut tie down on a C172D, I was a bit worried that I wouldnt be able to get the Camera to face straight ahead, but I did get it to work. Ill probably add additional rubber to handle some tiny bit of vibration. Overall a well done product!

Good blades to trim branches !
Super pleased. This mount was exactly what I’ve been looking for. I have used it three times on my Piper Cherokee tie downs. Solid camera mount love it.
Excellent camera mount, no vibration is seen in the video. The only downside (depending on your tie down location) is you need to buy a separate/different camera adapter to level the camera. On my Bonanza the camera sits cocked sideways due to the tie down angle. Other than that this is a great piece of equipment
Didnt flew yet but it looks like a strong construction, easy to use. The spring washer for the bold holding the black GoPro connection as in the picture was not fit on mine, not that it is necessary I think but still.. And the black GoPro connection was not parallel with the airplane mount.
