Static Port Cover
They work fine, but dont do what I did: allow the black sticky side of two covers to come in contact with each other. They stuck to each other so strongly that they pulled the smooth covering off both sides when pulling apart again. This pretty much destroyed them ... though surprisingly they do still stick to the aircraft OK.
After first couple days of use, the back side is losing its efficiency and the front side doesnt stick to the back side any more... I can still use it but not as it should be...
Static Port Cover
I ordered two of the static port covers. After just one application, the rubber backing on one of them started to detach from the front portion and also left some residue on the aircraft. This residue did not affect the actual static port but the potential was certainly there. Due to the partial detaching of the rubber backing, it is now necessary to remove the cover from the opposite side to ensure that the backing does not detach further than it already has
Where these look like a good idea, what I found out is they are easy to install, but when you go to remove them, the Red Separates from the Adhesive and the Black Adhesive stays attached to the A/C... Where I like the product, I think it needs aLOT more adhesive between the Red Flag part and the black Sticky Stuff that has the flag on it.
Static Port Cover
DO NOT BUY! Over priced and does not work. I attached to my aircraft as instructed, removed the next morning and the adhesive peeled off and left a sticky residue on my aircraft on and around the static ports. Unusable after as they no longer had adhesive. Aircraft Spruce needs to delete this item from their inventory!

No, they attach via suction. The instructions are: Make sure the surface around the Static port is clean, remove the clear covering on the black suction pad, center over the Static Port and push firmly around the whole surface of the Static Port cover to seal.
Yes they are reusable, the back of the static port cover has micro suction cup technology to grab to a surface. If it ever gets dirty simply clean with a rag and a little water and use again.
