Overview

Clevis bolts have a slotted brazier type head. They are special-purpose bolts for use where a large shearing stress occurs (never in tension). Manufactured and cadmium plated in same manner as AN3 - AN8 aircraft bolts. Minimum tensile strength 125,000 PSI. Available with drilled or undrilled shank. Add letter "A" after dash number for undrilled shank. Prices fluctuate on clevis bolts.

Reviews

Bolts worked as expected but very expensive.

i purchased the same clevis bolt from another aircraft supply house in the Midwest. It was not cad plated. It just did not look nice for the project. This bold looks crisp and appropriate for the restoration. Much higher quality product.

These bolts were purchased to replace previous purchase of same bolts. Previous bolts threads were so damaged, it was impossible to thread a castellated nut onto them. The newly purchased bolts had the same problem, just not as damaged. Threading the nut was difficult, but not impossible. Also, why are these almost $10 each?
