Overview

The 2024 edition of the Vividia VA-400i Rigid USB One-Way Articulating Video Borescope introduces several enhancements:
  • Direct connection to iPhone/iPad, Android, and Windows PCs.
  • 1280x720 resolution for clearer, more vivid images.
  • Broad focus range from ~5mm to infinity.
  • Durable tungsten braided mesh layer on the bending part*.
  • Locking/unlocking mechanism for bending angles, by popular demand**.
  • Single button for photo capture.
The Vividia Ablescope VA-400i borescope is perfect tool for conducting detailed inspections in difficult-to-access areas, like engines. It features a flexible 180-degree articulating 8.5mm diameter steel probe, equipped with 8 bright LED lights. This design enables thorough examination of dark, internal compartments, particularly the backside areas that are typically hard to see. * No more changing rubber sleeves!
** Locking feature is back due to popular demand.

Note: The LED light brightness can not be adjusted.

Features

  • ​The angle of articulation is fully adjustable from a straight position to a full 180° bend, allowing for the examination of the interior of dark, enclosed spaces.
  • It's user-friendly and simple to adjust the angle; just press the release button with a thumb bend.
  • The device can bend tightly with a minimal radius of just 30mm.
  • Equipped with six built-in white LED lights for clear visibility.
  • Features a high-resolution image output thanks to its CMOS sensor.
  • Designed with a fixed focus that ranges from 0.5cm to 100cm, suitable for a wide range of distances.
  • Powered through a USB connection, compatible with iPhones, iPads, Android devices, Windows PC.
  • * VA-400i is not compatible with MacBook computers, Chromebook and Linux systems due to lacking appropriate software. If you want to use a borescope with these systems, please choose the model, VA-400 v5.

Great product! Since one always has a cell phone within reach it’s super easy to save and distribute pictures of the borescope. Just install one app and it’s ready to go. No more fiddling around with an empty laptop, which requires a charger and always wants to drop. Very fairly priced.
