My wife and I mounted a fuel tank on a utility trailer so that we could fuel our aircraft outside the hanger. The fuel line is used as a sight glass on the side of the tank to allow us to determine when to reorder. Also, we use the line as a recycle feed back to the tank off the pump to very flow and recirculate the tank during the fueling process. The product works great!
Great for transferring HO into the strut.
Ive had great success using this pulse line on my ELSA Trike. Ive seen fuel line being used (on an ultralight) and I recommended that the UL pilot use pulse line from Aircraft Spruce instead. In my opinion the fuel line is too flexible to transmit a strong pulse to the mechanical fuel pump and reduces the efficiency of the pump. In contrast the pulse line with its thick-walled construction carries a stronger pulse ensuring peak performance of the fuel pump. As a tip, if I had difficulty pushing the pulse line over a fitting I would put the pulse line over needle nose pliers and briefly heat the end of the pulse line with a heat gun while opening the pliers. This would make it easier to push the pulse line over the fitting.
