Fit was perfect for the aircraft. Seems like a quality cable. Connected at the engine end then passed through firewall fittings and attached to Tach. The only hard part is having arms long enough to reach both sides of the firewall or needing assistance. I choose the later to get the firewall seals attached.

Yes, please use part number 10-03373 (TACH CABLE 192") which is a 16 ft tachometer cable.

Per the manufacturer: Front or rear of the engine doesn't matter because you should be looking at the port in the engine itself where the tach cable will be inserted into the engine. That rotation is what we go off of and most Lycomings have a clockwise rotation which is right lay.
