I purchased one of these headsets used when I first started my PPL training in 2019. It has been reliable, durable and relatively comfortable. This year I will be installing DC ear seals and a couple other modifications that will see this headset into the next several years as an unbeatable investment. I recommend this headset to ANYONE just starting out in flight training!
Reliable headset that fits the kaki cloth helmets. Have used these for 20 years in loud aircraft with radial engines because the noise canceling doesn’t cut it… that includes bose & lightspeed. Good product for the money.

Just got it, so I haven`t used it much, but the sound quality is excellent and pleased with the fit of the headband and the dual volume controls are nice.
For the price, in my opinion there is no better budget-friendly Passive headset available retail today. The headset boasts a half & half metal / gooseneck mic boom, sturdy headband and ear cups, and the capability to operate mono or stereo as well as adjust each sides volume separately. My one complaint about this headset is the firmness and lack of formability of the ear seals. They are quite hard... This allows noise to enter due to the fact that they dont totally form to your head, and they create an uncomfotable feel after not much more than an hour of continuous wear. Plan to purchase leather ear seals in addition if you purchase this headset!
Very reasonably priced, and works well enough. But not very durable. After several years of light use, the mike is falling off the boom, and one of the speaker is dead. My other H/Ss, of other brands, moderately more expensive ($200-$300 range), are more durable.
