The foam was exactly what I ordered, PVC foam with is fuel resistant and the material specified for building the strakes/fuel tanks for the Cozy MK IV. The foam was packed extremely well with wood to prevent damage. Aircraft Spruce always does a good job packing items to prevent damage in shipment.
Divinycell Foam...just what the doctor ordered. I am using this foam to fair the ends of my horizontal stabilizer and the vertical stab and rudder as well. Easy to shape, loves epoxy and very light.
Fast shipping
What can I say... Its Divinycell. My comment goes to the excellent person who took my phone order for his clear instructions to the packing/shipping person, and to him/her that executed flawlessly for the long trip to Panama. The foam arrived quickly and undamaged, due to the excellent packing! Thanks!
This should work out fine for my application.

Yes, Divinycell can be cut and sanded to shape.
No, Divinycell is not to be cut with a hot wire. The only foam that we offer that can be cut with a hot wire is our styrofoam, small cell (example part # 01-09400) and large cell (example part # 01-37600).
The sizes we offer are stock sizes with max length of 48". We may be able to special order a custom size, but the minimum order may be 20 pieces or more. We would just need the exact material and size you need and we can submit a request for a quote. Please contact our sales department if you would like to look into a special order for custom sizes.
Divinycell foam can be vacuum bagged. Polyester, vinyl-ester and epoxies can be used on this foam without any damage to the foam.
The heat distortion temp is 250 degrees. 350 degrees is much higher and would most likely damage the foam.
Yes. It can be cut using a CNC.
There is not a specific epoxy adhesive to be used on this material. All the epoxy adhesives we offer would work fine. You may want to consult with others with the same project to see what others have used with success. T-88, G-Flex, Aeropoxy adhesives, are just a few we offer.
No, these are rigid and will break if we try to roll them.
