Overview

An integral extension of the band as an inner liner protects soft-surface hose (silicone and others) from damage caused by extrusion or shearing through the band slots. Liner clamps afford maximum protection to soft hoses while providing a true concentric seal.

Standard 1/2” (12.7mm) band
5/16” (7.9mm) slotted hex head screw

Per SAE standard J1508 Type “F”

High quality hose clamp. A bit pricey, but well worth it. Much smoother action and more consistent pressure than other types. Good quality stainless steel that prevents rust in the marine environment.

Outstanding quality, fit & finish. Exactly what I need for an older car restoration. Clamp fits exactly as it should. Recommend these for use with silicone hoses. Using these on a heater core - if you ever did a heater core on a 60s - 70s car these clamps are crucial. You do not want to tear the dashboard apart to chase leaky cheap hose clamps that damage the hose.

A much better hose clamp for rubber hose. Doesn’t damage the hose

These screw hose clamps are designed a bit differently than the usual in that when a correct size is use, the hose rubber is separated from the screw by smooth flat interior perimeter metal. As such, the clamp does not cut into the hose plus looks more airplane than the commonly available box store hose clamps.

Q: Id like to know the width of the 3 INCH clamp please, part # 05-14937?

Standard 1/2 (12.7mm) band

Q: Are these made of stainless steel throughout the entire clamp, including the screw?

Yes these are full stainless.

Q: What grade stainless are these clamps? I need something for salt water is why I ask. Im also using them on 3/8 fuel line, will your smallest #6 clamp work for that size hose? Thank you in advance!

These are a combination of 300 and 410 series stainless. The minimum on this clamp is 7/16. You would probably want a 6504 clamp for your fuel lines.

Q: What is the difference in the part numbers that have the “H” and the ones that do not?

The "H" clamps have a liner to protect the hose.

Q: You state they are full stainless including the screw. I tested with a magnet and the band is non magnetic but there was a strong attraction between the magnet and screw, indicating the screw is non stainless. Has there been a design change or possibly incorrect screws used on these clamps I purchased?

The screw is a 410 grade stainless which will have a magnetic draw, per the manufacturer.
