AIRWOLF CAN CUTTER LARGE FRAM FILTERS (Radial) | 08-07191 |
Every A&P knows the importance of cutting every single oil filter open after an oil change. The problem up to now was oil filters were difficult to open and the tools to open them were expensive. This is no longer the case with the Airwolf AFC-470 oil filter cutter. The AFC-470 is the easiest and quickest way to determine the current health of the engine. The Airwolf AFC-470 oil filter cutter is constructed out of a solid 6" billet of super strong 6061-T6 aluminum, hard anodized to resist scratches and wear. Stainless steel rollers allow the oil filter to spin effortlessly during cutting. And finally, our specially designed razor sharp cutter wheel hardened to 60 Rockwell, will make quick work of opening any oil filter. This filter is designed to last a lifetime. Fits new style oil filters |
Works great. I had zero need for a vise held the filter in one hand and turned the cutter with the other. Taking small bites with the cutter wheel yields stellar results. Highly recommend.
Works great! Well made and its made in the USA!
Excellent piece of gear. Arrived late due to back order. Well built.
Seems well made. Have not had the chance to use it yet, but certainly looks up to the task.
Works well, better than expected.
Well built and easy to use. Turned with my hand till cut through.
Cuts the filter cans easily, is well made and one of the nicest features is that if you put a piece of tape over the hole in the bottom of the tool base it contains any residual oil from the filter after cutting it open so it doesnt make a frigging mess everytime you use it.
I have tried less expensive cutters, this one is by far the best.
This cutter is excellent. It is far better than the last one I had. Easy to use and well built, I expect it to last a lifetime. I would definitely recommend it.
Best solution around for cutting filter cans. Price was right, service immediate
