Series K10 Helmet Kit provides the ability to convert David Clark Company Over-the-Head style Headsets into a Helmet/Headset Assembly. The K10 Helmet accommodates universal 3-Snap Visor/Face Shield Assemblies that are commercially available. Requires assembly. The Series K10 Helmet Kit cannot be used with H20-** Series headsets. Approx weight 1.5 lbs. David Clark Company Series K10 Helmet Kits have three components: a suspension liner and an energy absorbing helmet shell with a protective nape pad. |
Excellent thanks very much
Originally got it for my ultralight setup but tested it in my Citabria training and it was quite comfortable. The DC headset fit well. Its a great setup for my needs.

By far the least expensive way into a quality head protection system.... Just add your DCs and a flip up visor!
David Clark K10 K Helmet
One of the snap on buttons came off the helmet upon first use. The maker/seller does not let you know if the helmet is fit to use with Bose or Light speed zulu headsets, when it would take them 5 minutes to determine. Bad.

Great! no where near as bulky or cumbersome as i was fearing. fits well with easy and lightweight movement in the cockpit

Our 10 pilots of our Spraying Company use the David Clark Helmet, since the cabin of the Piper Pawnee is very narrow, is the only FAA aproved helmet thats fits.
Comfortable fit. Needed to go on line for assembly instructions. Using helmet with the DC one-X.. The top two snap straps are too short to capture the metal band of the headset. After several tries I gave up and only use one. The perimeter snaps work well.
David Clark K10 K Helmet
Form & fit excellent for my head and DC10-13.4 headset. Not crazy about the color.
I was given this so I have no investment but I figured I would give it a try. I was surprised how comfortable it was (once I got it adjusted), and how much quieter than with just the open headset. A little finicky to get together. I will continue using it. If I can get my lightspeed zulu into it, it will become regular kit.
I like these, however the instruction could be a little better.

This K10 "K" Helmet does NOT include a headset. It is the helmet only. Re: Part No. 11-03840
These helmets are one size fits all. If an H10 headset fits your head, this will fit just fine.
Per the supplier: Customer can paint it, but if affected while painting it will void the warranty.
Yes they are for a sun visor but David Clark does not make or sell and option for us to offer.
Per David Clark, the H10-13Y youth headset would be too small and would fit loosely with the K10 Helmet. There is no adapter available.
Because the K10 helmet (11-03840) is made by David Clark there is no cross reference data available. It is possible for other headsets to fit but we can not guarantee compatibility.
The David Clark K10 helmet (11-03840) has not been tested for a DOT equivalent rating.
Only white is available at this time.
Per the manufacturer, yes the David Clark DC One X will fit.
This helmet weighs approximately 1.5 lbs.
