Instrument works exactly as advertised. Learning curve isnt all that steep and product support from uAvionix has been excellent. This is my second AV-30. First replaced my AI. Second is to replace my DG and eliminate the entire suction system.

Have a few of these, experimental and certified. Best bang for the buck, and looks better than the square ones

Dont have it in the airplane yet but it works perfectly on the bench. Customer support has been outstanding when I had questions about wiring and installation, responding by email the same day. User interface is simple, thorough, and intuitive. Seems to be a solid, well-designed unit and Im looking forward to getting it in the air.

Original AV-30E was purchased to replace a faulty DG and was problematic. Since the 2.4.1 update, everything seems to be far better. Purchased a second to replace my attitude indicator and am removing my vacuum system now! so far so good! The traffic feature is quite nice!

Amazing product, still learning the functionality
Great service. The installation is very easy. Beautifully arranged information loaded display. Will see how it flies.
At first I thought I made a mistake buying two of these, but after flying with them for 6 months, I have to say I honestly love them and Im glad I stuck with them. The customer support has been amazing and attentive. My biggest headache was excessive heading drift, for which uAvionix has just announced a software fix. It will prevent the unit from capturing a bad calibration on start-up / shut-down and prevent the problem. Im excited for it to arrive. The units can be trimmed by the user to calibrate any of the numbers that may be off from your steam gauges, such as airspeed and altitude. After trimming, my numbers stay dead-on. I paired mine with the Davtron temp probe and I really enjoy being able to see TAS and OAT readouts directly on the unit. These are great little units to get you by in style and on a budget.
Beware of updated model # that has upgraded internal circuit protection. Old part #s are still being stocked and should be changed out.
Bench tested only so far, but appears to be everything hoped for. Moderately easy to set up.
