Q: What is its shelf life of the iEvac Smoke Mask / Fire Hood?

Per supplier: 5-1/2 years from the date of manufacture.

Q: Can this iEvac Smoke Mask / Hood be used to filter fungus, and what size micron filter?

The iEvac has a pleated HEPA filter which is the highest grade particle filter - what the military uses. It will filter out 99.996% of particles as small as 0.2 microns. A spore is usually at least 20 microns in size. We can safely say the iEvac will protect against fungus.

Q: How long are the filters good for once the iEvac Smoke mask is put into service?

5-1/2 years from date of manufacture.

Q: Is this good for cockpit use in case of engine fires on GA aircraft?

Yes, this is the intended application.

Q: Question 3: I think wanted to know once its opened how long is it good for, or is it one use only?

If you are in a smoke/fire condition it is one time use, the filters have a catalyst that will convert CO to CO2 and will last about an hour.

Q: How long do the filters last? Can the filters be replaced? Is this a one use only mask?

The shelf life is 5 years, this is a one time use so there are no replacement filters.
