Powersonic PS-12180NB - 12 Volt/18 Amp Hour Sealed Lead Acid Battery with Nut-Bolt Connector. |
I put this battery in my Challenger II when I built it in 2010. Just ordered another to replace it after 13 years and 380 hours of flying. I would recommend this battery for any experimental aircraft.
Replacement battery for my Tecnam Light Sport. Received in less than five days and the battery was well packed for shipping. Quick install and everything was included, even the nuts/bolts. Trust Aircraft Spruce for all my hard to find parts.
Battery 18 Amp, Sealed
received the battery much faster than I thought. good job.
Im just replacing my last power sonic. It was 6 yrs old & was finally getting weak. It powered a GPS, comm radio & a intercom. It also is used to start a C90-12 engine with a B&C starter. The aircraft has no charging system. A simple maintainer is hooked up after each flight. It never went dead even after 25 to 30 starts in one day. Great power for a good price.
great to start with. I have had it in the plane for 2 years and discharged it to nothing twice and it no longer has the power to start the VW for a second start with a hot engine. It just needs time. For the price it is a good deal, you can get two and keep one handy.
