The Ultra Galactica™ Series lights are a very popular choice for certified and general aviation aircraft of any size, due to their compact design and easy installation. With full optical testing for brightness and chromacity, the Ultra also completed the rigorous DO-160F testing regime exceeding all requirements. The Ultra has also become the leading winglight solution for numerous military and law enforcement/surveillance UAVs around the world and is very popular with aircraft manufacturers.
Encapsulated in the exclusive AveoDiamidium™ formulation and with our goniophotometer-optimized chromed reflector system, the Ultra wing lights are virtually unbreakable. Packed with 30 ultra high brightness LEDs that are the industry state-of-the-art in performance and output lumens, the Ultras still feature the same tiny footprint the popular Aveo e-series wing lights have become so well-known for in the aviation world. These aircraft lights meet both TSO C30c and C96a design specifications and EXCEED the requirements of TSO C30c, C96a, SAE AS 8037 and AS8017A, plus DO-160. |

Aveo Ultra Galactica LED Strobe With Certification
Im very pleased with these. Pros - the strobe isnt easily visible from the cockpit meaning it not distracting during night flight. Cons - only one mounting screw, still uses strobe controller (unless I have that wrong, but mine is still in the circuit)
Aveo Ultra Galactica LED Strobe With Certification
Installed a pair of these on my Cessna. I did need the right amp connector and pins for the wires but these look so goo and much more streamline then old nav/strobe. These guys are bright too and I like to be seen so work good for me.
Is there any way to replace the lens covers , mine are getting foggy about 8 years out. It has always been in a hanger not in the sun except during flight
Amazingly brilliant! Comes with metric socket capscrews (really??). Unless you have metric nutplates, youll want to get a pair of 10-32 1 3/4 stainless capscrews.

These lights are sold in pairs for the left and right wings. No, these are just the lights. No wiring is included. The gauge of the wire depends on the run length so we would not know each customers application ahead of time and everyone has different switches in their panels.
Per the supplier: No, there is no separate base plate because the light would not be certifiable if there were. It is a complete single unit that has a mounting gasket that goes between the light and the skin of the wing.
Using shielded wire is a worthwhile investment because it has better conductivity and protection and it also can protect against a lot of the exterior interference that occurs.
Aveo model no. is AVE-WPSTG/R-54G
That is a certified wing light for aircraft requiring certified lighting. Where it is mounted depends entirely upon meeting the FAA lighting coverage requirements. This is dependent entirely upon the aircraft and is a determination of their FAA DAR.
No, C of C and 8130 must be requested at the time of order.
They require power from the aircraft but they would not require a power supply like a non LED strobe.
Yes they can be wired that way by installing a switch on the yellow wire.
Part #05-08099 is a Wingtip 3-in-1 LED light Navigation/Position/Strobe
Part #05-08364 is a Wingtip 2-in-1 LED light Navigation/Strobe
Per AeroLEDs: they are the same thing. The position lights and navigation lights are the colored lights on the aircraft to show direction of movement."
