Unit did not come with gasket or rubber bushing . I would not install without these two new items also there was no indication as to what would be required .
Left my aircraft 4 times on the ground. 1st one bearing fell out after 250 hours. Been replaced with another one that happily worked 200 hours before call from 350 ml away to come and rescue. 3rd time stop working locally in the midair, flight canceled. By the time taxied back it start working again. Checked, nothing wrong, new regulator and more. 4th time same as third shot off in mid air, in the morning like nothing happened. Stay AWAY from this brand.
After 4 months after installation (max. 2 months flying or 100hrs) failed. The bearings are down, screws loose, because of internal damage the coils are also cut. It seems they do not overhaul them at all and sell as is.
Failed after 15 months, 300 hours TIS, evidence of poor QA at overhaul. Aerotechs attitude: Too bad, out of warranty. Difficult to talk to. Not cooperative. Stay away from this supplier.
Garbage. Unit failed after 5 months and less than 50 hours.
