Reviews

I'd give it 4 or 5 stars 15 years ago... but these days, nothing I want to have to deal with. Find yourself a serial to USB converter, find the software driver, install, futz around, download- slowly- meanwhile the guy that has the engine monitor with the SD card is long done. OLD TECH! In need of an update- 5 years ago!

Q: How do you download the recorded info? Regarding Electronics International MUX8A Data Recorder

Per the supplier: It has a cable from jack to the DB9. However, if the customer is using USB they will need to purchase 10-04978, EI keyspan serial to USB adapter, separately. See "Accessories" tab.

Q: Can you record data from multiple EI instruments at the same time and then export all the data?

Per the manufacturer, the EI MUX8A Data recorder can record data from up to 8 devices. The EI UBG automatically outputs data. If you would like to use other EI gauges with the MUX8A, they would have to be sent back to EI for this configuration.
