I was skeptical about the claims for these headsets, but I was pleasantly surprised, actually pleased with the headset. After a little more use to see how it holds up, I plan to buy two more for my airplane.
I am impressed.....for a low cost headset, the sound is good, it is comfortable, and noise reduction is acceptable. I would recommend this headset to anyone.
The five star rating is based on value for money. For the price this appears to be a very solid headset. Comfort and weight are what you would expect for a non-ANR headset. Full disclosure - I have only used it a couple of times so durability is still unknown. It is designed and priced for a student pilot, a pilot who needs a spare or the pilot who needs a headset to fly friends on short trips. If this describes your needs then this headset should work well for you. Guy Wroble
They appear to be good headsets, I havent had a chance yet to use them. I bought them for rear seat passengers. So the jury is still out.
This is an excellent passive noise reduction headset. It compares well to the industry standard (and much more expensive) David Clarks. I bought 2 of these for the occasional backseaters but these would be perfect for the occasional flyer or student. The gel earseals, nicely padded headband and good quality speakers/mic make these headsets the best bargain I could find anywhere. The only thing I dont care for is the way they switch between stereo an mono with one of the volume knobs but thats a minor thing.
This is more comfortable (lighter and better fit) and clearer than my 15yr old Telex set. It feels nicer than what Ive found in most rentals. I bought this for the occasional passenger, but after flying with it for an hour, I think Im going to keep it for myself.
This is a great value
Got Your Six B1 Passive Stereo Headset - Dual Ga
This headset sounds clearer than my old David Clark. Comfortable for two 1.1 hour XC flights. The cable is stiff though, will need to clip it down to keep it from being in the way and snagging.
Bought a pair to upgrade my (occasional) rear seat passenger options. Chose these over another brand at the same price based on customer reviews. I tried both of them just to be sure they worked. Theyre good enough that I could live with them every day myself. (But I wont give up my ANR PIlots)
Was a great headset while it worked. Lasted about 1.5 years then the mic stopped working while flying. Will attempt to see if they’ll fix it for me.
