A great tool for when you have to dimple in a tight location or only have a small number of holes to dimple. Very high quality.

Good quality tool and works well for medium-small spaces. Isn’t quite the whole solution for a very tight space. I had to bend out the end of a rib to fit the tool in.

Q: Is the 1/8 inch dimpler for 1/8 inch countersink rivets?

Yes that is correct.

Q: How far into a sheet can the dimple vise grip extend to before bottoming out? (AKA how far into the sheet from the edge can a hole be located - and still be able to be dimpled?)

The dies are welded onto the Vise Grip jaws with about 1/2 of the die diameter extending out past the jaws. Measuring from the center of the dimple die you have about 1-1/8 to the back of the jaws. That should give you 1 to 1-1/8 reach from the edge of the material to the center of your hole to be dimpled.

Q: Does this dimple at 100 or 120 degrees?

This is 100 degree.
