These shears wire up to 18 AWG producing a flat, flush cut. Shear cutting greatly reduces cutting effort and minimizes fly-off. Cushioned grips and steel return spring for increased comfort during repetitive cutting. Ultra slim profile increases access in confined areas. Heat treated for increased durability. |

Klein Lightweight Flush Cutters D275-5
nice small cutters for ty raps and small wire, made in USA
Not only are these guys suppliers for pilots and airplanes but for a small time jewelry maker in Chatham too! I don’t know what I did without these before. Cheaper than buying from a jewelry supplier too. See ya soon guys. Thanks.
A little awkward at first and flimsy looking at first, but the cut is indeed flush and of quality.
Klein Lightweight Flush Cutters D275-5
A must when wiring avionic, specialy when trimming shield. They look flimsy but they are strong enough to do the job.
Only half of the opposing cutting edges actually make contact with each other, this being at the tip. The other half will not cut due to the gap. It will work for small zip ties but careful positioning will be needed. It is a manufacturing defect and QC let this one get by. I would expect this from the freight tool company but not Klein. It will work for my immediate project on the bench but not for the long term in confined spaces. This tool is worth about half what is charged and not worth the hassle to return.
